The Speed Society and OB Prestige Auto California Airstrip Attack was another successful event. Records were broken, epic battles ensued, and a great time was had by all (except those who blew their motors).
However, the weekend started it out with an unfortunate accident. From the reports we have gathered, Nacho in his 1750+whp Camaro had a brake malfunction after passing through the traps at 195mph. The brakes locked up, veering him off into the dirt resulting in the car rolling. Fortunately, everyone walked away from the incident unharmed and were quickly released from the hospital after a precautionary checkup. The vehicle had the required roll-bar and harness requirements which we not only require at certain speeds, but emphasize for everyone.
