Runway Racing Format & Championship Overview
Race Format
All runs begin from a standing start. Vehicles accelerate down the runway with trap speeds recorded at the 1/2 mile mark.
Participants may choose between:
Solo runs (for trap speed only)
Side-by-side racing (for head-to-head competition)
Regardless of your choice, you will receive a trap speed slip after each run. Time slips are automatically emailed to the address used at registration.
Event Schedule
The racing format remains consistent on Saturday and Sunday.
(Note: Some event weekends may include Friday. Schedule details will be communicated in advance.)
Open Class Participants:
Drivers not entered in a championship class may make passes freely throughout the day.Championship Class Participants:
Drivers competing in a championship class must make passes within designated competition windows to qualify for advancement.
Championship Structure
Participants in championship classes will compete in a shootout-style elimination format.
Daily Champions will be crowned for each class.
Vehicles in championship classes may run openly outside competition windows, but must complete official runs during scheduled sessions to remain eligible.
COMPETITION CLASSES
AWD (All-Wheel Drive)
Vehicles equipped with a four-wheel drivetrain.
2WD (Two-Wheel Drive)
Open to vehicles with either front-wheel or rear-wheel drivetrain configurations.
Ethanol Class
Vehicles must operate on ethanol fuel or be properly bled for ethanol use.
Manual Unlimited
Manual transmission required (H-pattern only)
Clutch use mandatory
No sequential transmissions allowed
No gear limit (e.g., 7-speed manual permitted)
Manual Six Limited
Engine limited to six cylinders or fewer
Must use a standard H-pattern manual gearbox
Dog boxes and sequential transmissions are not allowed
Motorcycle Class
Open exclusively to motorcycles.
Naturally Aspirated
Engines must be naturally aspirated.
Power-adders prohibited, including:
Turbochargers
Superchargers
Nitrous
Electric motors
Sedan Class
Eligible vehicles must have four or more doors.
Wagons and SUVs are permitted if they meet the four-door minimum.
Women’s Class
Open to female drivers competing in any eligible vehicle type.

Championship Registration & Competition Format
Registration Options
Participants may register for either:
Championship Entry (formerly “trophy competition”), or
Open Runs Only
Registration type and vehicle class must be selected at the time of online registration or on-site prior to the start of racing each day.
Drivers may only enter one class per day. A vehicle cannot be registered in multiple classes on the same day.
Championship Format – Shootout Structure
Qualifying: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Drivers in championship classes may complete as many passes as desired within the qualifying window.
At 12:00 PM, the top four (4) qualifiers per class will advance to the Semi-Final round.
Semi-Finals: 2:00 PM
Top four vehicles in each class report to Grid for Semi-Final matchups:
#1 Qualifier vs. #4 Qualifier
#2 Qualifier vs. #3 Qualifier
Winners from each pairing will advance to the Finals.
Finals: 4:00 PM
The top two (2) finalists in each class report to Grid for the final race.
Both vehicles will line up and launch simultaneously.
Trap speed on the final pass determines 1st and 2nd place.
No reruns will be permitted.
Championship Awards
Trophies will be awarded to both 1st and 2nd place finishers in each class.
Drivers must be physically present at the end-of-day awards ceremony to claim their trophies.
General Rules & Guidelines
Trap speeds apply only to each round.
Speeds from qualifying, semi-finals, or open runs do not carry over to other rounds or days.Open Runs After Elimination:
Eliminated vehicles may continue to make non-competitive runs until racing concludes that day, but are no longer eligible for awards.Day-Specific Results:
Trap speeds and results are valid only for the day on which they are recorded.
For example: A speed set on Saturday will not count toward Sunday’s shootout.Class Switching Between Days:
Drivers may change classes between days as long as changes are submitted before the first run on the following morning.
(Example: A Mitsubishi Evo may run in Sedan Class on Saturday and AWD on Sunday.)Vehicle Legitimacy Checks:
Any registered competitor may request a class eligibility inspection on another vehicle.Requests must be made before the trophy presentation.
Post-award requests will not be accepted.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Event Access & Registration Information
This event is open to the public. All participants must register online in advance. On-site registration will be available only if capacity allows, and is not guaranteed.
Spectators are welcome and can purchase pre-sale tickets online at a discounted rate. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the gate on event day, subject to availability and venue capacity.
The event is open to all vehicle types and horsepower levels, provided each vehicle complies with the required safety standards for the speeds it is capable of reaching. [Click here to review the full Rules & Regulations.]
Each registered driver is permitted to bring up to two (2) guests or crew members free of charge. All additional guests must purchase spectator tickets. Spectators will enjoy the same general access as drivers and crew throughout the event.
PARTICIPANT, CREW, & VIP TICKETS
General Admission (GA) Tickets
Each registered participant will receive two (2) complimentary General Admission tickets for guests or crew.
Guest/crew GA tickets are valid only on the day(s) the participant is registered.
Example: If a participant is registered for Saturday, their guest/crew GA tickets are valid for Saturday only.
VIP Ticket Upgrades
If the event offers a VIP ticket option, participants may upgrade themselves or their crew to VIP status during the online registration process.
Please note: VIP tickets are not available for purchase at the gate.
Ticket Delivery
All participant, guest/crew, and VIP tickets will be delivered digitally to the email address used during registration.
Tickets are typically sent approximately one week prior to the event.
WAIVERS & RELEASES
Participant Waivers & Liability Acknowledgements
As a condition of participation, all participants are required to sign and submit waivers and releases of liability prior to taking part in the event. These documents acknowledge that:
Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with their involvement, including but not limited to personal injury, death, or property damage.
The Organizer is released from any and all claims, losses, or liabilities arising from participation in the event.
Participants will also acknowledge that:
The Organizer does not certify, inspect, or guarantee the safety or fitness of any vehicle, equipment, or personal gear.
It is the sole responsibility of each participant to ensure their vehicle and equipment meet the safety standards outlined in the event’s Rules & Regulations.
The Organizer is not a sanctioning or certifying body, and makes no warranties regarding participant preparedness.
All required waivers and releases must be completed prior to event participation.

Mandatory Safety Requirements for Vehicles Exceeding 180 MPH
In accordance with our Safety Rules & Regulations, any participant intending to exceed 180 MPH during the event must comply with the following
mandatory safety equipment requirements:
Helmet: Snell SA2015 or newer (required for all participants)
Gloves: SFI-rated
Fire Suit: SFI-rated
Harnesses: Properly installed SFI or FIA-rated seat belts with a minimum 4-point configuration
Roll Bar: Minimum of 4-point roll bar
Fire Extinguisher: Mounted within reach of the driver
Neck Restraint: HANS device or equivalent neck restraint system (foam donuts are not acceptable)
180+ MPH Approval Procedure
To be authorized to exceed 180 MPH, each participant must first complete two (2) solo passes reaching speeds between 170–180 MPH. These passes are observed and documented by our staff to confirm the driver’s control and vehicle stability at high speed.
Once both passes are successfully completed and safety compliance is verified, the participant will be cleared to exceed 180 MPH for the remainder of the event.
Non-Compliance Policy
Any participant who exceeds 180 MPH without meeting the required safety standards will be immediately disqualified and prohibited from further participation in the event.

WEATHER POLICY
This event is scheduled to run rain or shine, with adjustments made based on track and participant safety.
Refunds will only be issued in the event of a full event cancellation. No refunds will be provided for weather-related delays or interruptions.
REFUND POLICY
Due to the significant costs involved in organizing and securing each event, all registrations are non-refundable. This no refund policy applies to all participant and spectator purchases, regardless of circumstance.
